K2 is the world's second-highest mountain, located in Gilgit Baltistan's district  Shigar. its height is  8,611 metres (28,251 feet) above sea level, It is located in the Karakoram range.

Its consider as the death Mountain as people called "It's a cruel peak that attempts to kill you," K2 became known as the Savage Mountain.
K2 is the deadliest of the world's five tallest peaks; for every four people who reach the top, one person dies on the mountain.  Other names for K2 include The King of Mountains, Mount Godwin-Austen, and Mount Godwin-Austen.




What is the cost of climbing K2 in 2021?


First and foremost it is necessary to request for authorization from the Ministry of Tourism in Islamabad to climb K2 from the Pakistani side. The maximum fee for a team of up to 7 climbers for  expedition is Rs 1425000, with an extra climber costing Rs.235000.

Is Mt. K2 more dangerous than Mt. Everest?

K2 is often referred to as the Himalayan Siren. K2 is also one of the world's most dangerous mountains, with a death rate of 25%, compared to 6.5 percent for Everest.

Is it possible to reach the summit of K2 without using any oxygen?

It is not for the faint of heart to attempt an 8,000m mountain. 2 mountainer already submitted K2 without any oxygen and lots of climber dead to attempt that.  Summiting these types of peaks is a risky endeavour that necessitates the highest level of concentration and mountain safety.
